The building’s original features, including its delicately detailed brick facade and heavily patinated concrete interior, informed the spatial and material sensibility of the interiors. Civilian aimed to create a porous space that fosters collaboration and connection through unexpected programmatic adjacencies and visual connections.
Interior Spaces
Upon entering the facility, visitors are greeted by a prefabricated rosewood and pressed stainless steel reception desk, symbolizing the project’s blend of craftsmanship and modernity. The interior spaces feature open studios, lounge areas, meeting rooms, and classrooms, designed to encourage creativity and interaction.
